fun football
McDonald's Fun Football is a programme intended to offer inclusive football sessions for children aged 5-11, regardless of their background, gender and ability.
Their mission was to elevate inclusivity and diversity, giving one million children the opportunity to play free football and providing 10 million hours of Fun Football by the year 2026.
In doing so, McDonald's wanted to explore a visual shift in the new direction of Fun Football and also find ways to make it look and feel more fun for the kids.
I worked alongside fellow designers Maddie Rourke and Augusta Lindquist. I created illustrations and graphic elements that were used for iconography and messaging devices and also integrated with photography and print media.
It was an absolute joy collaborating with McDonald's on Fun Football. I am honoured to have been a part of the process that lead to the final outcome of such an honourable, inclusive and diverse project.
